Nate and Mary's engagement session was at Blandy Farm in Boyce, Virginia. The sun was shining and these two were so happy together. I just love their session. From the light, to their attire and happiness. I'm looking forward to when they say "I do"!
Jon and Kaitlin's wedding was in October and held on Lydia Mountain in Standardsville, VA. They had one of my absolute favorite ceremonies. Kaitlin sang to Jon, they prayed, they prayed with their parents, and sang together - it was beautiful and I'll never forget it. Their love and faith is so strong and it was a wonderful thing to document. Here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding day.

Lauren is a fellow photographer who has become a wonderful friend. She always has a smile on her face and makes the best of any situation. Her outlook on life is always positive, which is always great to be around. We drove backroads, walked under bridges and went through tunnels for her session. We started under a bridge in Harpers Ferry. Then we drove backroads and were caught in a storm. The rain discouraged us, but we found shelter under a tunnel which ended up being a great place to continue her session. Photo sessions are always an adventure and I would not have it any other way!
